Is my nose piercing infected?

I got it pierced on December 4, so it's still new. I haven't had any problems with it until this morning when I cleaned it. It looked like it had kind of a bump that appeared at first glance to be a zit, but then it kind of went away, and maybe I'm just now noticing? But it also looks slightly discolored around the hole, but maybe that's just the shadow of the ring. It's been like this on/off all day, it looks normal and healthy one minute and the next I'm super worried that it's infected and I'll have to take it out. And it's not noticeable unless I'm 3 inches away from a mirror. I've been taking good care of it, cleaning it 2-3 times a day and soaking it (although for like the first week or so I didn't). Also the inside of my nose is totally fine... it's just the outside. And it doesn't hurt. I called the place that I got it done at, but the guy I talked to didn't know anything about piercings and told me to come in tomorrow to have the girl who pierced it take a look. I'd like to find out ASAP though, because if it is infected I don't want it to get any worse :(
