Which candy bars are best for my children?

Which candy bars are healthiest?

I personally like the Fibre 1 bars or the All-Bran ones. They have 5 grams of fibre which accounts for 20% of your daily fibre intake. They are similar to granola bars but healthier in my opinion. Plus they taste great :)

Oh and only have 2 grams of fat.

junior mints are small and low fat or a small tootsie roll. Obviously candy bars are not healthy, but if they are going to have candy, other options are a few jelly beans, lifesaver, smarties...

How about half a candy bar? Then you can eat pretty much anything. Red Licorice? That's fat free!

I think moderation is key here. It's okay if your child has their favorite candy bar, just not everyday! When it's time for a special dessert, have dessert!

I'm sorry to say they give my 12 year old a bellyache almost every time he eats them. I've gotten three or four phone calls to pick him up at school with stomach cramps! Quaker Chewy granola bars work better for us.

No candy bars are best for your children, NONE of them are "healthy".
