Early potty training tips?

I know it seems early, but my 15 month old is showing signs of being ready to potty train. He already goes #2 in the potty, and tells me when he has to go. He really has no concept of peeing yet, so I really don't know if we should press ahead and start training, or just keep putting him on when he asks, and let him continue to pee in his diaper. I want him to be ready, but I don't want to send him mixed signals that one goes in his pants and one goes in the toilet. I wasn't planning on starting potty training for another few months, but since he's coming to me asking to use the potty, I thought that if anyone had any tips on training such a young child I'd really appreciate them
