During the New Yorker Festival on Sunday, "Arrested Development" creator Mitchell Hurwitz announced plans to make nine or ten new episodes of the television show, which will lead up to the long-awaited movie. The episodes will catch viewers up on the characters - a sort of "where are they now" that gets some back story out of the way without sacrificing screen time in the movie.

Seth Meyers, Amy's co-anchor on SNL's "Weekend Update," broke the news to viewers, saying that Poehler's chair was empty because she was "having a baby."
