Loughlin's graduation night from high school- looking at this photo I have to wonder when did most of them become taller than me??? Tonight I watched my little girl graduate from high school. As she marched into the Civic Center with her graduating class, my eyes welled up with tears thinking of how quickly the past eighteen years have gone by. Just when I think I have heard and seen it all, I hear a story that stops me in my tracks and literally makes me sick to my stomach with anger. This week I heard one of those stories and I am stunned, speechless for once, at what I heard. I have written before about one time when I took all of my children to Disney World. As a parent, I was so excited to share this “magical” place with them, having my own fond memories of going there when I was a child with my family. The topic of tattoos recently came up over dinner one night at my house. My oldest daughter, Loughlin, who just turned 18, was telling me that she wanted to get one. I immediately told her absolutely not and that I would not allow it as long as she lives under my roof. Continuing on my mom rant I told her and all of the kids at the table that getting a tattoo was a lifetime decision and one that needed to be thought about and made carefully.
