Family Weekend Getaway in Coronado

Summer is drawing to a close but there’s still time for a fun weekend getaway with your family! We decided to plan a special trip to Coronado, a quaint resort town on a peninsula connected to the mainland of San Diego. I’d heard about it, but I’d never visited the island, so we were all excited for the new experience! After dealing with Los Angeles traffic for a few hours, we made it to the bridge (it’s called the Silver Strand) that takes you to Coronado. You instantly feel like you’ve been transported to another world.

Our Romantic French Getaway
