Recalled Alfalfa Sprouts Sold to Walmarts in 15 states

Alfalfa sprouts recalled due to salmonella poisoning were sold to approximately 400 Walmart stores across the nation. The sprouts were recalled by Caldwell Fresh Foods of Maywood, Calif.

The 15 states where Walmarts bought tainted sprouts were: Alabama, California, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon and Wisconsin.

Last week, the Center for Disease Control reported that the recalled sprouts have sickened at least 22 people in 10 states.

Beware of the sprouts you eat!
