Meet Brooke Burke: Co-CEO of Modern Mom

May 28, 2009 by ModernMom Staff Leave a Comment

If I am passionate about anything, it’s my family and being a mother. My commitment to sharing my journey with women around the world began in November 2008 when I launched BabooshBaby.com. I created a line of products to help women make the most of their pregnancy and give themselves the best shot at regaining their pre-pregnancy beauty. The internet quickly became the best avenue for me to share my personal secrets to staying in shape, and my personal experiences about my motherhood journey.

What began with one hero product, the tummy wrap, called Tauts, in my mother’s apartment, quickly exploded to becoming the number one mommy-must have after pregnancy. I began blogging to share many of my mommy experiences, (the good, the bad and the ugly) and I found that I was learning more from mother to mother about parenting, children, and myself than I had from any other source. Baboosh Baby was growing fast so I needed to find a bigger home for it AND I needed to find a way to be more interactive with the community.

My partner, Lisa Rosenblatt, an internet pioneer (and my girlfriend, supermom of three and partner in everything momly) and I discovered Modern Mom, Inc., a website created by mom expert Lolita Carrico in 2001. This was the perfect vehicle for us to connect with moms everywhere and create the new ModernMom.com – the online community for the woman behind the mom.

I am confident that you will find everything you are looking for. We have thousands of original articles and expert videos as well as a variety of incredible bloggers.

Whether you are a momprenuer like me, a stay at home mom, or a Chief Household Officer, this is the place for you. Modern Mom is a place to share, learn and grow. We want to hear from you because you are our community.

We are excited about the many changes to come. Check back daily for constant updates and my daily blog.

I’m thrilled to announce my new venture and am so grateful for you to be a part of it.

Enjoy.

Brooke Burke – T.V. personality, mother of four and Co-CEO of ModernMom.com.
