This time it’s the celeb slamming the tabloids instead of the reverse. Farrah Fawcett spoke out to the Los Angeles Times about the nightmare of dealing with anal cancer that was exacerbated by the tabloids reporting often erroneous and personal information.
She grew suspicious that perhaps her privacy was being violated by someone inside the hospital. Sure enough, after an investigation by UCLA, the medical center where she was treated, an employee, Lawanda Jackson, was found to be leaking Fawcett’s medical records to the Enquirer.
“I’m a private person. I’m shy about people knowing things. And I’m really shy about my medical [care]. It would be good if I could just go and heal and then when I decided to go out, it would be OK.”
According to Ryan O’Neal, Fawcett’s long-time partner, her condition is deteriorating.
