Her sister might be “The New Girl,” but Emily Deschanel is the one with a new boy!
The 34-year-old actress and her husband, David Hornsby, welcomed their first child on Wednesday – a boy named Henry Hornsby, acording to PEOPLE.
Deschanel is best known for her role on “Bones” as the title character Temperance “Bones” Brennan (a somewhat socially inept forensic anthropologist). Hornsby has appeared on “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.” The couple got married in 2010.
Throughout her pregnancy, Deschanel maintained a strict vegan diet, telling Fit Pregnancy that she indulged in cravings such as lemonade.
“I want it all the time. That and grapefruit. Those cravings I indulge. But I also crave chocolate all the time, and I try to ignore that.”
It’s been a big week for Deschanel’s little sister Zooey as well – her new sitcom, “The New Girl” premiered Tuesday on Fox with strong early ratings.
