Think pink!
Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson are expecting a baby girl – and they’ve already picked out the name.
“We’re sure, “she said in an interview with Elle magazine. “We’re embroidering it on things.”
She’s not telling what it is, but the 31-year-old mom to be did spill some details about the couple’s choice:
Calling it “nontraditional,” she did assure readers that “it’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it, they’ll know … why.”
How mysterious! What do you think the couple is planning to name their little one?
Our best guess – Joe, after her father. It’s not a traditional girl’s name, but certainly not as shocking as Apple, Pilot Inspektor or any of the other bizarre celebrity baby names that made our top 10 list.
The “Fashion Star” mentor also joked about some anxiety that her little one might not share all of her passions.
“I swear I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!” she said.
“Eric is so athletic. We’re going to have this athletic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping.”
You know, she’s taken a lot of flak over the years (especially for the Chicken of the Sea confusion) but when it comes down to it, Jessica Simpson just seems like a sweet girl from Texas with big hair and a big heart.
And we think she’s going to be a great mom!
