Tech Camps for Kids

December 10, 2010 by ds_65371 Leave a Comment

While some children love nothing more than getting fresh air during the summer months, others prefer to dedicate their summer to getting a leg-up on other students and exploring the world of technology. If your child is an avid tech-fan, he may enjoy spending his summer months learning a bit more about the ways in which computers work and building his software skills. Not only will your kid likely enjoy participating in a program of this type, doing so will help him return to school ready to ace his computer class the following year.

iD Tech Camps

At iD tech camp, children explore computer hardware and software and increase the computer literacy during their summer away from school. This camp offers an assortment of programs ranging in length and focus. You can select from a one-week program, open to 7- to 17-year-olds, or a more intensive two-week program, intended for already knowledgeable campers between the ages of 13 and 18. The iD tech camp holds summer camp sessions at more than 60 colleges and universities across the country, making it highly likely that you can find a location for your child in state.
