This time it’s Honda. 700,000 Fit, Freed and City compact cars are being recalled due to a defective spring part that may cause engine stalling. Luckily no accidents have been reported due to this, but at least 100 complaints were filed in Japan and abroad according to Honda Motor Co. spokesman Tomohiro Okada.

Toyota Motor Corp said it was recalling more than 1.7 million vehicles worldwide. More than 12 million Toyota vehicles have been recalled since 2009. 1.34 million of the recalled vehicles have been recalled due to a faulty fuel pump and connecting pipe outside the U.S in the Japanese market. Among those recalled arethe Noah minivan and Avensis units.
