Hi - I'm Samantha and I am a first time blogger. My son has brought me to blogging as an outlet and connection to others dealing with similar issues. I am a student, career mom, daughter, sister, niece, grand-daughter and most importantly a special needs mom to a very special boy. Damien is my light and my life, he just so happens to have PDD-NOS (pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified, form of autism), Tourette Syndrome (motor and vocal tic disorder), dysgraphia (neurological disorder dealing with the function of writing), generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive symptoms, ADHD, and weaknesses in executive functioning along with sensory processing disorder (SPD). We are currently in the process of fundraising for 4 Paws for Ability inorder to get him an Autism Service Dog. Our goal is $13,000. He just turned 9 years old yesterday 05/09. They grow up too fast!
