Brooke Burke’s Mexican Fruit Salsa

August 2, 2016 by Brooke Burke Leave a Comment

Summertime means picnics… and lots of chips and dip. Your favorite Super Bowl bean and sour cream dip is just too heavy for this time of year, so let’s get light!

This healthy salsa recipe incorporates the essential flavors of Mexican cuisine. We’ve got onion and jalapeno for spice, tempered by the fruity lightness of mangoes, melon, and pineapple. It’s sweet and savory fruit salad – perfect for your next party!

Great with chips or as a garnish for a piece of grilled chicken or fish. Or just pair it with a margarita for Mommy and bring it outside by the pool! Yum!

  • Lime juice
  • Cilantro
  • Jalapenos
  • Pineapple
  • Mango
  • Melon (Cantaloupe)
  • Salt to taste

Directions

In a bowl, mix together one mango, and spoonful of each of these ingredients – pineapple, melon, jalapeno, and red onion.
