Recall – Amy’s Frozen Products For Possible Listeria Contamination

Oh no – recalls strike again. Last week we had Kraft Mac & Cheese and Trader Joe’s nuts, and now it’s Amy’s delicious and healthy products.

The company is recalling approximately 74,000 cases of 19 different types of products. It appears that one of their suppliers may have provided them with spinach contaminated with Listeria.

The recall includes Amy’s vegetable lasagna, tofu scramble, enchilada verde, spinach pizza, brown rice and vegetables bowl, stuffed pasta shells bowl, and tofu scramble breakfast wraps. The individual and 8-12 packs are being recalled. For a full list of items, check out the fda.gov website.

Amy’s Kitchen is voluntarily recalling these items to be on the safe side. Luckily no one has reported any illnesses.

If any of these items are in your freezer, please return them to the store where they were purchased for an exchange or full refund. If you have questions, call Amy’s at (707) 781-7535.

Remember Listeria is particularly dangerous for pregnant women and can be fatal for children, elderly people, and those with compromised immune systems.

Please be careful and share this info.
