Safety 1st is recalling their Wood Decor highchairs. Children can remove the highchair’s tray which poses a fall hazard. The company has received 11 reports of children getting injured including lacerations, chipped teeth and bruises.
This recall includes about 35,000 Safety 1st Wood Decor highchairs in 3 models: HC144BZF (Casablanca), HC229CZF (Gentle Lace) and HC229CYG (Black Lace). The model numbers are printed under the highchair seat. The highchairs have a white plastic, detachable tray with “Safety 1st” printed on the front center of the tray.
The highchairs were sold at Babies R US and Toys R Us retail stores and online at Amazon.com, BabiesRUs.com, ToysRUs.com and Walmart.com from 05/2013-05/2015.
