Smiling it Forward Through Cold and Flu

This is a guest post by Jessica from I Heart-Motherhood – check her out there!

The following post is sponsored by TYLENOL®.

Last winter when my little ones both came down with colds at the same time, I wasn’t prepared. They had both been up all night with runny noses, coughing & fevers. I found myself at the drugstore early the next morning grabbing supplies to help them get through their colds & to help prevent myself from getting sick.

My children are my little warriors, even when they aren’t feeling their best, they are still playing, laughing, high-fiving & this day wasn’t any different – they weren’t going to let a cold slow them down! After a few days home from school, lots of hand-washing & fluids, & being fever-free, my children were smiling & happy to be over their colds & headed back to school. There is just something special about that “feel better smile” after a cold that makes me smile too – knowing that my babies are finally feeling better.

Unfortunately, the dreaded cold & flu season is right around the corner. Ever since the kids started school I’ve been waiting for one of my children to come home with a cold. I just know it’s going to happen, so this year I’m going to be prepared! I’ve already starting stocking up on cold & flu supplies so I’m ready when sickness strikes!
