About Lissette Leon

Lissette graduated from Boston University with a BA in Psychology. She later on completed a Masters degree in Elementary Education and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in Puerto Rico where for the past years she has dedicated and specialized in treating women of all ages suffering from depression, substance abuse, domestic violence as well as women convicted of multiple crimes. She currently lives in Miami, FL, with her husband and three children, two teenage girls and a 12 year old boy. Juggling between career, healthy cooking, homework, football and volleyball practices she tries to manage their new challenges of raising a bi-cultural family in the United States. She is the creator of a new blog called We Are Certainly Uncertain, a blog about parenting teens and tweens and raising a family in a new country.
