Highlighting Parents and Children Who are Giving Back in New Social Broadcast #GiveBackNews

We’re excited to share a new social media news broadcast dedicated to highlighting stories about parents and kids who are making a difference by giving back to their community. In this week’s edition of #GiveBackNews for Modern Mom you’ll hear how bribing kids to do well in school is working in one community in Michigan, see how a rookie with the NBA is giving back in a big way to his mom in Pennsylvania, and how a couple in Orange County who lost their son, turned their grief into a musical celebration of his life.

Former CBS news reporter and anchor Stephanie Abrams started #GiveBackNews to celebrate those making a difference in their communities with stories that invite participation by volunteering, or by joining the social broadcast and sharing their GiveBack stories. She’s now partnered with Modern Mom and will be sharing #GiveBackNews stories featuring parents and children every week.
