As if we weren’t already in love with Jenna Dewan-Tatum, the actress has captured our hearts even more with her sweet and sensitive outlook on motherhood.
In the May issue of Glamour, the 32-year-old talked about how she and her husband of four years – the incredibly sexy Channing Tatum – are getting ready for the arrival of their first child.
“Who knows what kind of parents we’ll be? We have two dogs, so we’ve had some practice! And as soon as this baby comes into the world, Channing and I will figure it out real fast.”
Dewan-Tatum, who stars in “Witches of East End,” showed off her bare baby bump in the photos accompanying the interview.
“I think, How in the world am I going to do all this? I have no idea what I’m up against. But I’m as mentally prepared as I can be. It’s an adventure!”
And apparently, there have already been some surprises along the way:
“I thought my body was going to change so quickly with pregnancy that I’d freak out. But it was really gradual. There’s a reason women are pregnant for nine months; by the end, you’re ready to have this baby.”
The actress also shared some tips for building a strong marriage, especially in a town like Hollywood.
“Most actors and actresses are consumed by careers and getting ahead. Channing and I are ambitious, but our relationship comes first. We take everything day by day, saying, ‘OK, how can we make this work together?'”
We can’t wait for this adorable couple to welcome their new arrival!
