Charlie Sheen Back to Work

January 5, 2010 by ModernMom Staff Leave a Comment

Regardless of the state of his personal life, actor Charlie Sheen went back to business as usual on Monday. The actor was present for a table read of his CBS sitcom, Two and a Half Men. A source told PEOPLE Monday, “In six and a half years of Two and a Half Men, he has been completely professional and never misses work. He is always on time and is completely committed.”

Sheen was arrested on Christmas day following a domestic dispute with his wife, Brooke Mueller. He returned to Los Angeles after being released from jail. Mueller and their twin sons remain in Aspen, Colo, where the dispute took place.

According to reports, it looks like both Sheen and Mueller want to salvage their marriage after the incident. A close friend of the actor told PEOPLE, “Charlie feels awful. He let himself down by drinking … [and] he wants to be with his kids.” The source added that, “[Charlie] has two little boys and he does not want to get divorced again.”

Mueller feels the same way. She asked the famous lawyer, Yale Galanter, to revise their protective order so that she could visit her husband. Galanter stated, “Brooke and Charlie are very passionate about each other, they love each other and want to try and save their marriage. They had a bad night and want to get beyond it. They want to try and resolve their issues.”

Should the couple try to salvage their marriage? Would you stay with your husband after an incident like this one? Please share your thoughts!
