As the holidays approach, mailboxes begin to overflow with Christmas cards from friends, family, people you haven’t seen since high school
Some are simple, some are silly and some are just plain awkward looking. Themes can range from color coordinating outfits to “funny” poses or backdrops.
But years later, you can be sure that someone, somewhere will still have that faded card hanging on their fridge – so better make it count!
Here are a few celebrity holiday cards from year’s past:
In this classic card, the Jenner-Kardashians went with an all white theme. Highlights: Bruce Jenner’s turtleneck, Khloe’s knee socks, Kim’s inappropriate amount of cleavage.
Bethenny Frankel might have been the runner-up on “Skating with the Stars,” but she was the hands-down winner of the 2010 Christmas card season with this little gem. Do you think the dog is purposely trying to blend in with Jason Hoppy’s costume?
Two years ago, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon sent out a cartoon version of themselves as Mr. and Mrs. Claus. And wow, that drawing of Mariah really nails the way she looked in 2009.
This one is just really cute. In 2008, Britney Spears posed with sons Jayden James and Preston under the Christmas tree.
