Denise Richards faces the same problems that many single moms face: trying to co-parent and start dating again, even with a hectic schedule.
The hot mama stopped by The Grove in LA to talk to “Extra‘s” Mario Lopez about how she’s raising her gorgeous little ladies, 5 and 6, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
Richards is real about the situation. She and Sheen have not always been on the best terms, but they’ve put their issues aside to focus on their daughters Sam and Lola.
“It’s so important to anyone going through a divorce to put that stuff aside,” Richards commented about their past marital problems. “Definitely our girls benefit from that.”
Denise said she is constantly asked how she made it through so many trials before, during, and after her messy divorce from Sheen. So often, in fact, that she decided to write a book about it.
Her book isn’t done yet — as most moms know, it takes a while to get these things rolling. However, between being an author and a full-time mother, Richards is trying to make time for other things that are important to her as well…like dating!
“I tell my girls I’m going to a meeting when I go on a date. Haha! They’re like… you have a meeting at night? I’m like, yeah it’s a late one,” she laughed, adding that one day she definitely wants to get married again. “I would absolutely love to get married again. I love being married.”
