She sang about a meeting of soul mates on her debut single, “A Moment Like This,” and it looks like Kelly Clarkson has found her once in a lifetime love.
The 31-year-old Grammy winner married music executive Brandon Blackstock on Sunday in Tennessee!
She shared the news on social media, tweeting, “I’m officially Mrs. Blackstock 🙂 We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!”
The newlyweds also shared wedding photos, which showed Clarkson in a gorgeous long-sleeved lace gown and another of the pair kissing in a field (aww!).
Although they originally planned a large wedding, the singer told ABC earlier this month that they had scrapped the plans and were going to do something small with just the couple and Blackstock’s two children, Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7.
“I thought my mother was going to be [disappointed] because I’m her baby,” Clarkson said about not having a big wedding to-do. “I thought that was going to be weird but she totally got it. She actually responded, ‘I’m just happy I don’t have to buy a dress!'”
