Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s son Christopher was hospitalized after a surfing accident in Malibu, California last Sunday. The 13-year-old, who was boogie boarding when the accident occurred, suffered a collapsed lung, broken bones and broken ribs.
He is in serious condition but is expected to make a full recovery, according to a statement issued by his parents today. The family also thanked the paramedics and lifeguards for their quick response, and all of the doctors and hospital staff who treated Christopher.
Christopher is the youngest child of the estranged couple.
