Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka are expecting their second child – a baby girl. But the announcement didn’t come from the dad-to-be… it was the grandfather-to-be who couldn’t help but tell the happy news!
Amanda’s father – former Canadian teen idol Paul Anka – spilled the news during an interview with ET Canada:
“I’m going to be a grandfather again. It’s another baby girl.”
Bateman and Anka have been married for more than 10 years, and already have a 4-year-old daughter named Francesca Nora. And Bateman doesn’t have to worry about trouble with the in-laws – Paul Anka had nothing but praise for his son-in-law, saying “he’s a very smart boy, a wonderful guy for my daughter.”
It’s been a busy year for the Arrested Development star, with two hit films – Horrible Bosses and The Change-Up. Hope he’s able to get some rest before he goes on diaper duty for another little one!
