Kate Middleton Is In Labor!

The #GreatKateWait is almost over, as Buckingham Palace officials have confirmed that Kate Middleton had been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in the early stages of labor.

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived early Monday morning in a private car with her husband Prince William.

She is expected to give birth in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital, where Princess Diana gave birth to William and to his younger brother, Harry.

The 31-year-old has reportedly been taking it easy during her final days of pregnancy. William, also 31, has been on leave from his job as a Royal Air Force helicopter search and rescue pilot.

What will happen when the Royal Baby arrives?

Queen Elizabeth II, about to become a great-grandmother, will be notified first. Then, in keeping with tradition, a notice will be posted on a wooden easel just inside Buckingham Palace railings, followed by an electronic message to the media and the world.

Crowds have gathered outside the hospital and the palace, eagerly awaiting word that the heir to the throne has been born, and what the new parents have chosen for their baby’s name!
