How to Make Lollipops From Jolly Ranchersby Jessie Jane
Homemade candies are popping up all over the internet and they look adorable and delicious but let's be real, most people don't already own a candy thermometer, and nothing's more frustrating than chipping hardened corn syrup out of the inside of a pot.
When it comes down to it, homemade candy is deceptively difficult, messy, and time consuming. Not anymore though!
Jessie Jane, founder of Lilyshop, is bringing you this awesome recipe for DIY Jolly Rancher lollipops. These are perfect for party favors or gifts, they're super-simple to make, and clean-up is a breeze.
Now there's no reason to be afraid of homemade candy!
Jolly Rancher Lollipops
- Jolly Rancher hard candies
- Popsicle sticks
- Wax paper or a Sil Pad
Lay out wax paper or a Sil Pad over a baking sheet. Place popsicle sticks on the pad with plenty of space in between.
On each stick, lay out five of your favorite Jolly Ranchers. You can make a fun pattern or mix and match flavors.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 4 minutes. Once they bubble they are done, but pulling them out at four minutes is a safe bet.
BONUS IDEA: for Caramel Apple lollipops, use only 3 of the green sour apple Jolly Ranchers, and then dip them in melted caramel! Because the caramel is hot, don't leave them in the caramel for more than a second or two.
Lay them flat to dry and then enjoy!
You could also try Cherry Cordial pops with cherry Jolly Ranchers dipped in chocolate. Be creative!
Once they're dry, wrap in plastic and decorative ribbon to give away as gifts or party favors!
