Disney Imagicademy
Disney Imagicademy is a new technology-driven learning initiative designed for families with children 3 to 8 to encourage children to learn by creating, doing and making. This new brand offers parents a way to expose their children to fundamental educational concepts in a fun and uniquely Disney way, by combining the Disney characters and stories families love and trust, with a research-driven curriculum developed in conjunction with top academics and education experts.
The integrated program, which launched in December 2014, includes 30-plus app-based experiences, along with a companion app for parents that will help them play an active role in their child’s learning – as well as books and other physical products that will be available for back-to-school 2015. The apps and products cover key subject matters that are important for early childhood development, including math, creative arts, science, language arts and social and emotional skills. Disney Story Central
Disney Story Central is a brand new digital library designed especially for kids and families featuring a wide array of beloved Disney stories and characters. The cross-platform experience is available via the iPad app and tablet-optimized website. Sofia the First Color and Play
Sofia the First Color & Play, a magical 3D and animated coloring book. With this new app, children can let their imagination run wild – all with a paintbrush in tow! Children will love channeling their inner decorator, get messy and use Sofia’s Royal Bedroom as their enchanted canvas. They will even be able to watch their creations come to life in 3D animation, jump on the bed and play hide-and-seek with Clover!
