It’s no rumor – Adele is going to be a mom . The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.
The 24-year-old announced her big baby news on her blog today:
“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”
Adele and Konecki, 36, started dating last summer. He is the co-founder of the U.K. bottled water company Life Water.
It will be the first child for the “Someone Like You” singer, and the second for Konecky, who has a daughter with his ex-wife, fashion stylist Clary Fisher.
