As a mother of three, Jennifer Garner knows that life is dirty, messy, and prone to staining.
In an effort to encourage fun, no matter how messy, she teamed up with Frigidaire on Wednesday at L.A.’s Griffith Park, in honor of her new film “The Odd Life of Timothy Green.”
The event encouraged kids to play in the dirt, collect as many grass-stains as possible, and just generally make a mess of their clothing.
Before you whip out the stain sticks, know that the purpose of the dirt was to advertise Frigidaire’s Affinity Washer and Dryer.
The new appliances boast improved stain-fighting power and a total wash and dry cycle of only 45 minutes, so that you can get in and out of the laundry room and back on the playground faster than ever.
But it’s not all about the appliances. The “Adventures in Clean” kickoff event was co-sponsored by Save the Children – an international organization that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.
And even if you aren’t in L.A., you can still take part!
All you have to do is visit Frigidaire’s Facebook page and upload a photograph of your child in all of his dirty, messy glory. Your photo will enter you into a raffle to win both a Frigidaire Affinity washer and dryer duo as well as a trip to L.A. for the premiere of The Odd Life of Timothy Green! Frigidaire will also donate one dollar to Save the Children for every entry.
