So it turns out that Kristen Bell has a thing for sloths and in one of the most adorable (and ok, slightly bizarre) things I’ve seen in awhile – her boyfriend Dax Shepard invited one to her 31st birthday this past July.
Kind of cute, right?
Except apparently Kristen Bell REALLY has a thing for sloths. Like, loves them. A lot.
The actress was on Ellen Tuesday telling this story, and she explains that at the moment she realized a sloth was in the house, she literally could not function.
Bell is dead serious when she says this line: “My entire life had been waiting for this moment, when I would get to interact with a sloth.”
Luckily, Shepard filmed her meltdown. Even more luckily, she brought the footage.
It’s really funny. Not kidding, I actually spit out my coffee when they cut to Bell in a fetal position on the bed.
“I mean, I needed to be sedated clearly,” she says.
