Today’s video is all about the glorious sun and sun safety. Many know how important sunscreen is to prevent damage to our skin; in fact a lot of money is spent on sunscreen each year. The question is how do you choose a sunscreen that is a safe choice for you and your family? In this video I talk about the different types of sunscreens, physical sunscreens vs. chemical sunscreens. I will teach you what ingredients I look for when purchasing sunscreen and which I avoid.

The sunscreen I personally use is The Honest Company spf 30 mineral sunscreen. This is not an affiliate link, but I find it super helpful when others provide the brands they personally use and love as a starting point, so I wanted to provide the same for you.
A great website to search for safe sunscreens is EWG.org/2013sunscreen
There you can try to look up the sunscreen you are currently using to find out where it ranks. You can also find a list of safe sunscreen recommendations.
