In the latest Smurfs film, our favorite blue-skinned forest dwellers have to rescue Smurfette after she’s kidnapped by the evil Gargamel.
The 3D comedy is full of goofy humor, slapstick gags and wild shenanigans – but in the end, kids and parents learn some valuable lessons about the real meaning of love and family and self-identity.
Because, in the words of Papa Smurf, “It doesn’t matter where you came from, what matters is who you choose to be.”
The Smurfs 2, which stars Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, Katy Perry, Neil Patrick Harris, is in theaters now. You can check out the trailer below:

To celebrate the film’s release, JAKKS Pacific has tons of toys. Kids can collect all 24 of The Smurfs 2 Movie Figures to act out their favorite scenes from the movie.

They can also cuddle up with Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Clumsy and Grouchy plush toys for some cuddly Smurf time.
The Smurfs 2 products are available at Toys “R” Us, Target, Walmart and Kmart.
And for kids who aren’t as into toys and dolls, there’s a new video game available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Wii U. Players can move through the game as one of the nine characters from the film, including Jokey Smurf, Hefty or Brainy Smurf. The adventure takes them through Paris, the Enchanted Forest and more!
