Halloween Punch for Kids

October 8, 2012 by Laura Scalone Leave a Comment

You have the party favors, the healthy snacks, the not-so healthy snacks, and all the kids have great costumes.

But how do you serve up a great Halloween Punch for the little ones that is special enough for the occasion, and isn’t filled with sugar?

Easy!

You’ll Need:

  • 2 liters of Sprite Zero
  • 2 cups of No-Sugar-Added Apple Juice
  • 1 cup of Light Pomegranate Juice
  • Plastic Glove
  • Filtered Water

Directions:

Start out by mixing together Sprite Zero, no-sugar-added apple juice, and light pomegranate juice in a punch bowl.

To keep it frosty cool, fill a plastic glove with water, and freeze.  The ghostly hand will float in the punch bowl like a spirit trying to get a sip!

Other ice ideas include using a bit of dry ice.  This works best if you serve the punch in a witch’s cauldron so the fog that rolls off of it looks like a magic brew.

You can also freeze Gummy Worms in the ice cubes so the  kids get a buggy surprise in their drink!
