Celeb Beauty Tips

A life in the spotlight and a staff of stylists make many celebrities experts on beauty and fashion. Give your look a star-studded update by employing Hollywood beauty tips and products. The best aspect of giving yourself a celebrity-style makeover is that most Hollywood personalities change their looks frequently, giving you more inspiration to experiment and improvise.

RuPaul’s Lipstick

The stars on the set of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” have developed lipstick application tips that give their looks staying power. For urban-chic red lips that stay through cocktails and a night of dancing, begin with a quality red lip liner. Fill in lips with red lipstick. Add a dab of gloss where your top and bottom lips protrude when you pucker, either tinted in red and with a pearly glaze, or a clear gloss with some silver sparkle.

Madonna Hair Color

Celebrity stylist Steven Tapp oversaw Madonna’s hair treatments and coloring through various tours. He recommends treating hair between shampoos with an anti-humidity spray, to reduce your amount of hair washing, which fades color. A hair serum accomplishes a similar feat, keeping hair shiny and silky while protecting it from fading during hot blow drying. Select your hair color product carefully, using one that conditions the hair before coloring it. When your roots start to show, select a tinted hair powder and dab it on your roots.

J Lo’s Luminescent Skin

J Lo’s signature style has her cornering the market on celebrity beauty tips. Many celebrities, such as Julia Roberts, Drew Barrymore, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz, all emulate her perpetual dewy glow. You can do the same by applying skin illuminator. These pearly shimmer creams add moisture while reflecting light that hits your skin around your face. You can go with one of two application techniques. Put on foundation and then add a skin illuminating product, or mix skin illuminator into your foundation before smoothing it onto your skin.

Heidi Klum Bedhead

It takes a small amount of work to achieve that carefully mussed look known as bedhead. Rather than sporting carefully combed or thick bangs, aim for Heidi Klum’s breezier presentation. Dry your bangs straight. Put a small circle of styling cream on your palms, rubbing your hands together to create viscosity. Pat the cream onto your bangs, which will muss them and slightly spread them out, for a lighter look.
