This past Saturday, ModernMom went to the Sony Pictures Animation campus to see The Smurfs: The Legend Of Smurfy Hollow (available now on DVD, Amazon and iTunes).
The mini-movie had the classic humor of the TV show paired with both CGI and traditional animation.
In an effort to win the annual Smurfberry Hunt, Brainy, Gutsy, and Smurfette head into spooky Smurfy Hollow to face Gargamel, and the legendary ghost, the Headless Horseman! Hank Azaria (Gargamel), Alan Cumming (Gutsy), and Fred Armisen (Brainy), all reprise their roles from the Smurfs Movie.
Short but sweet, this flick is pure Halloween fun!
After the viewing, the kids enjoyed activities such as meeting Papa Smurf and Smurfette, fun photos, caricatures, pumpkin decorating and trick or treating!
