My kids are huge video game fans (shocker, I know) but it’s not an activity that we typically do as a family. Well, that is until we tried the Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident for the Nintendo Wii. This video game brings the classic computer game to the television for universal family fun. In The Malgrave Incident, we act as the detectives at an abandoned resort on Malgrave Island trying to solve the mystery. The object is to help Winston Malgrave save his wife, Sara’s life, by finding hidden objects scattered around the island.
We explore the island as a whole family while trying to figure out puzzles and circumvent obstacles all while trying to solve the mystery. My kids love this game and I love the family time that it creates. This engaging interactive video game entertains the whole family while also exercising our brains!
