Babies With Jaundice
Some babies are born with jaundice, a condition that makes their skin and the whites of their eyes appear yellow. Unlike jaundice in adults or older children, infant jaundice is usually not caused by an underlying condition, such as cirrhosis or hepatitis. Most babies with jaundice do not need any treatment. In rare cases, a baby may experience complications from jaundice.

Measles, mumps and chicken pox were once common illnesses of childhood that have mostly been brought under control by vaccinations. All three diseases are very contagious. If your child is not vaccinated, he can get one of the diseases through contact with another infected child. Each disease can have serious complications, so prevention is the key to keeping your child safe and healthy.
