Birthday Party Ideas for 7-Year-Olds
Those preschool birthday parties are a thing of the past. Your child turns 7 years old this year, and this means a new way of celebrating, typically with a longer party and a larger guest list. Prepare for a 7th birthday party by setting a budget, because many children want to invite everyone and do everything. Brainstorm together to come up with a festive theme, cool party games, and a creative but accessible menu.
What can I do to get my kids organized for back to school?
Check out our free downloadable checklist (http://getbuttonedup.com/2010/07/tool-free-printable-back-to-school-checklist-form/) for getting ready for back to school. It will help you get organized in a sane way for that first day of school and starts a month before school and goes up to the first day.
Fun Games for Kids Indoors
Put aside those toys and video games, and engage your kids in fun indoor games. Whether it’s winter outside or the kids just need a moment to play calmly, indoor games can help children relax, focus and engage with one another. Vary your indoor games so that everyone excels at something, or organize group challenges and cooperative games that have children working toward a common goal. Remember to engage all the players by keeping games accessible and focusing more on participation and less on rules and competition.
