Reflections of a Weekend
This weekend was action packed. Truly, there was no breathing room. Besides a nice family dinner Friday night, the rest of the weekend was spent studying and running. We awoke Saturday morning to a major hockey tournament for my big son. Hello, what else is new?! But the truth is, 12 of the top players from his team of 50 kids were chosen to compete in the Jeux De Montreal, which is a tournament of different cities competing at the Pre-Novice hockey level.

Face your biggest fears~
When I was 15 years old I attended an outward bound camp. I remember completing many trust exercises with my group as a way to conquer fears and rely on others. It was an absolutely amazing week, but one exercise in particular was a defining moment in my life. There was a pole, roughly 30 feet tall, with small pieces of wood secured to the pole, to be used as a way to climb the pole. The instruction was to climb the pole to the very top, pull yourself up on top of a small round disc, and then stand up.

I would like todays Blog to address a comment a friend of mine made to me the other day. It went something like this: Erica, I have to tell you, Im losing my patience. Im yelling at my kids a lot lately. I cant remember the last time I sat on the floor with them to do a puzzle. Im short tempered with my husband. Im pulled in a million different directions, and Im completely frazzled!
