“We must work unceasingly to uplift this nation that we love to a higher destiny, to a higher plateau of compassion, to a more noble expression of humanness” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Every year on the third Monday of January, we remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the civil rights icon who fought tirelessly for freedom, equality and the dignity of all people. And although his life was cut short, his message of change through non-violent action continues to inspire people around the world.
