It’s Confirmed: Jessica Simpson is Pregnant Again!

It looks like little Maxwell Drew going to be a big sister already!

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson confirmed via Twitter today that they’re expecting baby number 2.

The 32-year-old “Fashion Star” mentor gave birth to daughter Maxwell – who weighed in at a solid 9 pounds, 13 ounces – just eight months ago.

Since then, she’s worked hard to get back in shape and drop the baby weight, losing an inspiring 60 pounds. It seemed like she was planning to take a little more time off before welcoming any more new additions to the family:

“I don’t want to have another baby right away but I do want to have more kids,” she told PEOPLE back in May. “Having babies back to back has to be so hard.”

But as many moms know, life doesn’t always go exactly according to schedule. And now Simpson and her former NFL star fiance have another little one on the way.

“It definitely wasn’t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. “She really is overjoyed!”

The couple – who shared the news of their first pregnancy with a photo of Jessica dressed up as a mummy (get it?) for Halloween – posted a photo of Maxwell with the words “big sis” written in the sand:
