Congratulations are in order for Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, who welcomed their second child – Joseph Frederick – on October 14.
“We just welcomed a beautiful & healthy son into the world. Jared, Arabella and I couldn’t be happier!” Trump, 31, tweeted.
The new mom explained the meaning behind the baby name on her Tumblr:
“Jared’s grandfather, Joseph, was a rock. His indomitable spirit, his sense of family, and his work ethic are the values we hope to hand down to our son. My grandfather, Frederick, was a builder not just of tens of thousands of homes throughout this city, but of a tight-knit family that honors to this day the traditions he established.”
The proud parents also shared photos of the newest addition to the family, including an adorable picture of Joseph being held by big sister Arabella, 2.
During her pregnancy, the daughter of business mogul Donald Trump opened up about their decision not to reveal the sex of the baby.
“I don’t like to tell people, but I don’t have the discipline to keep it a surprise,” she told Fit Pregnancy.
Trump and Kushner, who is the owner of the New York Observer, will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary on October 25.
