One secret to looking younger than you are is good skin care. Using natural products and natural methods can help you replenish your skin’s moisture, while not having to use harsh chemicals. Natural skin care is easy to do and does not have to be costly.
Clean the skin before going to sleep at night. Use a soap that is made with all natural ingredients. Lather the soap on the skin, rinse several times with warm clean water, and pat dry with a soft towel.
Mix an oatmeal facial exfoliate solution and apply to skin. Use1/3 cup quick cooking oatmeal, approximately 1/4 cup honey and 1/2 cup water. Cook oatmeal and water together and set aside. As the oatmeal cools, add honey. Mix it together. Once it has cooled enough to be handled, place it on your face in a thin mask, avoiding the eyes. Place used tea bags over the eyes to protect them from the mask and to rejuvenate the skin under the eyes. Leave mask on for 10 to 15 minutes. Peel it off and rinse residue with gentle scrubbing motions and warm water.
Moisturize the skin with olive oil. Apply the oil directly to the skin in an even thin layer. Rinse off after three to five minutes. Towel dry.
Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables on a regular basis to ensure you are providing your skin with the proper nutrients for good health.
Hydrate your skin by hydrating your body. Maintain a daily regime of water consumption to keep your skin hydrated and healthy so that it can continue to grow new cells and maintain a youthful, fresh appearance.
