Who are the hottest men in Hollywood and which of them have the best hair? Some people say clothes make a man, while others may argue that his hair does. A man can be incredibly good looking one day, then get a bad hair cut the next and suddenly his looks have lost a bit of the luster. From long hair to closely cropped cuts, a few men have perfected the art of a good hairstyle to frame their faces well and bring out their hotness. These are our personal faves:
English actor Jude Law has brilliant blue eyes and a sensitive look. He wouldn’t achieve that look without his gently mussed, short blond hair. His hair gives him a sometimes carefree, mischievous look. PS– rumor has it he has gotten hair plugs, but you didn’t hear that from us!
More likely than not, actor Brad Pitt could wear any hairstyle and still look hot. When “People” magazine named him the Sexiest Man Alive in 1995, Pitt was sporting long blond locks. In the early 2000s, Pitt had a short haircut that varied from spiky to long in the front. The short cut accentuated his square face and strong jawline.
Actor George Clooney, beloved by women since his starring role on the TV show “ER,” makes dark hair sprinkled with flecks of gray look sexy. Although Clooney’s hair is usually cropped close to his head, the actor tried out a longer look in 2010.
Johnny Depp, an actor known for his hot looks and the challenging roles he takes on, may be one of the few men alive who can pull off a mustache, soul patch and partial goatee along with a long, floppy haircut. When “People” magazine named him Sexiest Man Alive for the second time, the actor had long bangs that drew attention to his chocolate-brown eyes and well-sculpted cheeks and nose.
Robert Downey Jr.
Whether he’s playing detective Sherlock Holmes or billionaire inventor Tony Stark, it’s his short, slightly tousled and spiked dark hair that makes Robert Downey Jr. look hot. In 2009, the actor admitted to coloring his hair to remove any trace of gray. As long as his hair looks good, it doesn’t matter that the color comes from a bottle.
Zac Efron has worn his hair in a shaggy, down-in-front-of-his-eyes cut and in a preppy, brushed upward hairstyle. While the long cut makes him look like a singer from the 1970s, the short hairstyle flatters his cheekbones and bright eyes.
Matthew McConaughy, yet another man deemed Sexiest Man Alive by “People” magazine (in 2005), looks his best when his blond, slightly curly hair is medium length. The actor can’t help but look sexy with his hairstyle and rugged, forgot-to-shave-for-a-few-days look.
Irish actor Colin Farrell sported long, chin-length hair in the 2009 movie “Ondine.” He’s also worn his hair cropped extra close to his skull. He was at his sexiest when he wore a slightly spiky, tousled hairstyle, though.
McGregor is yet another actor who’s sported both long and short styles and who looks best when his hair is at an in-between length. The actor keeps his sideburns on the long side, but neatly trimmed and groomed. His hair is at its best when he wears it longer in the front and spiked atop his head in a faux hawk.
Super short, cropped hair flatters men with well-structured faces and David Beckham is no exception. When he wore his hair in a buzz cut, the style showed off his strong jawline and smooth forehead.
