Spirit of Children supports both Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA and Shriners Hospitals for Children-Los Angeles in an effort to make hospital stays less scary for children and their families. Each year, the program touches thousands of pediatric patients and helps them celebrate Halloween just how kids should: with costumes, decorations and fun activities.
This Halloween, Spirit of Children will host celebrations at 85 hospitals across the United States and Canada, and hopes to raise $3.5 million, bringing its total contribution to more than $10 million since the program’s inception. In the LA area, Spirit of Children has raised more than $205,000 for both hospitals.
