One of my favorite trends for spring is the draped wrap skirt, sometimes called a tulip skirt. This is a figure-flattering silhouette that works for most body types, and I love the elegant detail that the draped fabric creates. So try something new–instead of sticking to your tried-and-true pencil or A-line skirts, I suggest investing in a drape-y style. While it’s still cold out, wear it with high boots or opaque tights and heels. Top it with a simple tank, and add a skinny belt to pull the look together. Then throw on a faux fur coat for a glam touch and extra warmth. (If you prefer an edgier look, choose a leather jacket instead of fur.) Then, when the weather warms up, transition to spring by pairing the skirt with killer heels or booties, like the ones my store manager, Lauren, is modeling below.
