Would Private Label Work for Your Product Idea?

I just did a segment on FoxBusinessLive.com and talked about provate label options. Private labelling is when you make your product but you make it for another company to call their own. For example, we made our Moisture Jamzz Moisture Gloves and then made special packaging for them so that they could be sold under the Bath & Body Works name, or H2O PLUS name etc. It’s a great way to generate income and get exposure for your product, however, it doesn’t build up your brand. But it is meaningful to tell retail buyers that those other big companies chose to put their name on your product. Then you can close a deal with other big retail chains to sell your brand in their stores. So for stores that only sell their own brand, if you feel that your product help to make theirs better in some way, it may be a great match for a private label project!
I had a fun remote for @FBNLive this AM from L.A. Love Tracey & Chris! Thanks for having me! http://bit.ly/aNnpZk
